In December last year court in Gdańsk issued a sentence in the case between Mr. Wyszkowski and president Wałęsa, stating that Mr. Wyszkowski has deliberately misled public opinion arguing that Lech Wałęsa lost the trial in year 2011. It is another positive resolution for president Wałęsa.

According to the sentence of the second instance, Mr. Krzysztof Wyszkowski has published recently an appropriate apology in the media (e.g. on the  website www.gpcodziennie.pl, as well as www.wyszkowski.com.pl) with the following content: "I, Krzysztof Wyszkowski, herby apology Mr. President Wałęsa for disseminating false information as though Mr. Lech Wałęsa lost the trial in the case I ACa 1520/10 in the Appeals Court in Gdańsk, regarding the violation of private rights, initiated because of my allegations about the paid cooperation of Mr. Wałęsa with the Security Service”.

We are happy with the next positive court verdict for President Wałęsa which shows that the dissemination of false information and the attempts to discredit the heritage of national hero such as president Wałęsa will arouse a fierce reaction and legal consequences. It is worth mentioning in this issue that the Institute conducts actions within the campaign #NationalHero which are to be continued in the coming months.
